Most first visits last 45 minutes to an hour. You'll leave knowing your options, your timeline and your cost.
What happens
You'll receive a thorough exam and a discussion of treatment options. We take preliminary diagnostic records so the doctor can evaluate your bite, jaw development and alignment, then answer every question you have.
What to bring
- Any panoramic X-ray taken in the last six months (or ask your dentist to send it)
- Your orthodontic insurance card, so we can estimate your benefits
- A parent or guardian for patients under 18
- Your questions — nothing is off limits
Do I need a referral?
No. Many patients are referred by their dentist, but many others schedule an exam on their own.
