Patient Info

Patient info: from your first consultation to your final smile.

Everything new and current patients need in one place: what happens at your initial consultation, the forms to fill out before your visit, and the right treatment for every age.

Step one

Patient info: at the initial consultation

The first step is to schedule a personal consultation with Dr. Hardin or Dr. Aranda. This is a great chance for you and your family to meet our team and ask any questions you might have.

Harmony Orthodontics is a Platinum Plus Invisalign provider, a reflection of their years of expertise.

During your consultation, we'll review your dental and medical history and perform a full oral exam, including X-rays. Based on what we find, we'll create a treatment plan just for you. We'll also discuss payment plans, insurance, and other financial details to ensure you have a clear understanding of what to expect.

Healthy smiles at any age.

Kiddos

We're here to make sure that your child's smile stays healthy for years to come. Early orthodontic visits can prevent all sorts of problems as adult teeth come in and jaws reach their permanent alignment. Using the most advanced technology available, we'll correct little issues before they become big ones.

Look for these signs that your child might need early orthodontic treatment:

  • Losing baby teeth too early or too late
  • Crowded, misplaced, or blocked teeth
  • Teeth that don't line up properly or don't touch at all
  • Jaws or teeth that look out of proportion with the rest of the face
  • Difficulty chewing or biting food
  • Breathing mostly through the mouth instead of the nose
  • Frequent thumb or finger sucking
  • Jaws that make popping sounds when opening or closing

Teens

Parents sometimes forget how many challenges teenagers face on a daily basis. We can't guarantee an A on a math test or a touchdown on Friday night, but we can make life a little easier by helping your teen have a winning smile. Today's braces and other orthodontic appliances can straighten out teeth faster than ever. We'll meet with you and your teen to discuss the options and make sure you have all the information to keep the process short and sweet.

Harmony Orthodontics offers:

  • Clear braces
  • Invisible braces (Invisalign® Teen)
  • Traditional metal braces with an array of available colors

Braces

Metal braces are the traditional braces commonly worn by most people seeking orthodontic treatment. Metal braces can be used to treat all orthodontic problems, including issues with misaligned bites or jaws and crooked teeth.

Today, metal braces are sleeker and more comfortable than they have been in the past. Have fun with metal braces by switching up the colors of the ligatures. Traditional braces are a great option for patients who don't want to deal with removable aligners and are useful in more complex cases.

Invisalign

Harmony Orthodontics is a leader in the nation for Invisalign, ranking in the top 1% of all providers in the world. We now hold the Invisalign® Platinum Provider Status so you can be assured our care will get you results. We can straighten your teeth without wires and brackets, using a series of clear, customized, removable appliances called aligners. It's virtually undetectable, which means hardly anyone will know that you're straightening your teeth.

Invisalign is made with 3D computer imaging technology and has been proven effective. More than 70% of orthodontists in the US and Canada are certified to treat with Invisalign. Invisalign Teen aligners are really comfortable and very durable. They fit in with any of your extracurricular activities. So whether you're swimming the 50-meter race, out on the field throwing the football, or playing the clarinet with the school's band, you don't have to worry about your braces getting in the way!

Technology

iTero iCAT 3D Imaging

The more detailed information an orthodontist has, the better they can diagnose and plan your treatment. Three-dimensional X-rays capture details that 2D X-rays cannot. The i-CAT system is designed to reduce radiation exposure while still providing high-quality images. With its advanced treatment-planning software, the i-CAT FLX Cone Beam 3D system helps create clear, detailed images for more precise planning and care.
