What happens at my first visit?
You’ll receive a thorough exam and a discussion of treatment options. The visit lasts 45 minutes to an hour and includes preliminary diagnostic records. Please bring any panoramic X-ray from the last six months and your orthodontic insurance card so we can estimate costs.
Is the first exam really free?
Yes. Harmony Orthodontics provides complimentary consultations to all new patients, with plenty of time to discuss treatment options, cost and timing.
Does my family dentist need to refer me?
No. Many patients are referred by their dentist, but many others schedule an exam themselves.
At what age should my child have an orthodontic screening?
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a screening at age 7, when enough permanent teeth have erupted for us to evaluate development effectively.
How long does Invisalign take?
Most Invisalign treatments take between 9 and 15 months. You’ll switch aligners every 1–2 weeks and visit us every 10–12 weeks.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We make every effort to keep treatment affordable with flexible monthly plans, and our Parent Perk offers $0 down braces and $99/month for parents of current patients.
